appologies if this is the wrong place to put this folks, but a while ago, on some website or other for blind people, I saw a reccomendation for some software that could rip the audio from a DVD like you can a CD, now I've tried a couple of programmes that claim to do this, and found them completely inaccessible. can anyone tell me if there is some software out there that will do this and work with Jaws? Thanks in advance.

hmm. There's one called dvd audio extractor I think, that or dvd audio ripper. Not sure which.. But I used it with no problems. Though you do have to pay for it if you want it legally.

Hi again, thanks for the replies I've had so far, does DVD audio ripper work with Jaws? and where can I get it from?, also, can any totally blind people reccomend a portable DVD player? bearing in mind I live in the UK, I'm considering the philips DCP750, can anyone tell me if it is good for blind people to use? in particular, the audio button on the player that is used to skip between different audio tracks on the disc, such as comentry and audio discription?
thanks again.
